1. Local Browser-Based File and Text Processing

All thirteen active tools on AllToolsFree—Image Compressor, Image Resizer, JPG to PNG Converter, PNG to JPG Converter, Image Cropper & Rotator, PDF Merger, PDF Splitter, Image to PDF Builder, PDF to Image Converter, Word Counter, Case Converter, Duplicate Line & Whitespace Cleaner, and Text Diff Checker—execute locally within your web browser on your own device.

When you select an image, choose a PDF document, or type/paste text into an AllToolsFree workspace:

• Your files and text are read directly into your browser’s local memory using standard client-side web APIs (File, Blob, HTML5 Canvas, URL.createObjectURL, Intl.Segmenter, and local client-side PDF parsing and rendering via pdf-lib and locally bundled Mozilla PDF.js).
• Your files, images, PDFs, and text inputs are NOT uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any AllToolsFree server.
• Generated output files exist only in your browser’s temporary memory until you download them to your device, clear the workspace, or close the browser tab.

2. Cookies, Local Storage, and First-Party Analytics

AllToolsFree does not use first-party cookies or user account cookies. The site does use browser local storage to keep a randomly generated pseudonymous visitor ID (alltoolsfree_visitor_id) so that first-party usage events can be grouped into approximate visitor counts across sessions. This identifier is not your name or email address. If local storage is unavailable, or if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, analytics tracking is skipped.

When analytics is enabled, the site sends page-view and tool-open events to its own analytics service. Each event may include the pseudonymous visitor ID, page path, referring website hostname, country, region, city, and a broad browser-family label (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Other). The analytics database does not store your exact IP address, full browser user-agent string, uploaded files, or the text you process. These analytics fields are used to understand site usage and improve the tools.

Analytics records are stored in the site operator’s Cloudflare D1 database and are retained until the site operator deletes them or changes the analytics implementation. You can prevent this site-side analytics identifier from being used by enabling Do Not Track in your browser or blocking local storage; doing so does not prevent you from using the tools.

3. Analytics and Advertising Services

AllToolsFree uses first-party analytics as described above. No third-party advertising scripts are currently loaded on the website. If advertising services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to identify the relevant providers and describe their data practices before those services are enabled, including obtaining consent where required by applicable law.

4. Hosting Infrastructure & Web Fonts

Like any standard website, when your browser requests the AllToolsFree web page and static assets, the underlying hosting infrastructure processes standard HTTP request metadata (such as your IP address, browser user-agent string, referring URL, and timestamp) to deliver the webpage and maintain network security.

AllToolsFree loads open-source typography (Plus Jakarta Sans, Public Sans, and JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser connects directly to Google’s font servers to fetch these font files.

5. Data Retention and User Choices

Because AllToolsFree does not upload or store your images, PDFs, or text inputs on our servers, we retain zero copies of the files you process.

You can remove any loaded file or text immediately using the Remove, Clear, or Reset buttons inside each tool workspace, or by closing your browser tab, which releases temporary browser object URLs from your device memory.
